These past 4 months!!!
I cannot really catch this blog up. So I decided that the next couple of posts will be highlights from our lil one during these past few months. Hope you enjoy!!!
You asked on my blog how I did the ruffle part of my party in the back dress. I would love to give you more info! I took a few pictures of the method I use on my child's apron post. Scroll down to where I talk about the ruffle part. To gather up fabric, you have a few options. 1. Buy a ruffle foot (they are expensive, so obviously, I didn't do that :) 2. Stitch a line on the fabric where you want it gathered, but use the longest stitch length your machine has. Leave the thread tails. Gently pull on the back side thread (or bobbin thread) until it's gathered as much as you want. This takes awhile so I use the next method. 3. Follow my instructions here. Way easy.
